Wales Cottages are brilliant source of accommodation when on a Snowdonia holiday. But once you get there what are you going to do and see, well in the blog post we are going to look at some of the best tourist attractions in Snowdonia and around North Wales.

Bodnant Garden

One of the finest gardens in the world, Bodnant garden is owned and maintained by the National Trust and is located near the river Conwy. The gardens have stunning views that over look the Snowdonia range and are split into two main sections. One of side consists of Italianate terraces, herbaceous border and shaded lawns. The second half sits lower than the first and is known as the Dell. It is set on a steep sided valley that has the River Hiraethlyn running along its base.

Snowdon Mountain Railway

The Snowdon Mountain Railway has been a big attraction in North Wales since 1986. The train travels to the summit of the Mt Snowdon, which is the highest mountain in England and Wales at 3,560ft tall.

For over 113 years, visitors to the area have travelled on the Mountain Railway and taken in the stunning sights of the countryside that can be seen from such heights.

Opening in Spring 2009, the new Visitor Center at Snowdon’s summit will provide a warm welcome and facilities to visitors who make it to the summit.

King Arthur’s Labyrinth

This exciting visitor attraction is great for anyone who is interested in the legend of King Arthur. Bringing the story of dragons and epic battles to life, this underground boat ride lets visitors journey into the depths of the spectacular caverns under Braichgoch Mountain. Along the ride, you will be treated to light and sound effects that help tell the story of King Arthur. The ride will end as you travel along the subterranean river and into the grounds of Corris Craft Center.
