The Deep, near Hull

The Deep is Europe’s deepest aquarium and is home to an array for marine life the likes of which you probably wont have seen before. The Deep has a huge salt-water tank, a tropical tank and other smaller habitat tanks.

The Royal Armouries, Leeds

The Royal Armouries houses some of the National collection of armour including some of the oldest and rarest armours in the world. As well as armour displays there are interactive exhibits and ever jousting and falconry demonstrations.

The Jorvik Viking Centre, York

Here at the Jorvik Viking Centre you can discover more about Vikings and the huge impact they had on the area. Travel back in time and find out about the lives of the Vikings who lived in York as well as their work, religion and family life.

Xscape, Castleford

Xscape centres are found throughout the country are regarded as one of the best attractions in the UK. The centre in Castleford has 430,000 square feet of space for extreme sport and leisure. Xscape has a laserzone, indoor skate park, rock climbing walls, bowling, mini golf, a soft play zone, toddler activities and an aerial assault course to name just a few.
