One of the greatest things about living in the UK is the accessibility to great holiday spots.  In a few hours you can be in a great destination, allowing you to take a break and spend a nice holiday.  This is ideal for those summer weekends when you would prefer to go on a short holiday.  Maybe you do not have time for a week long break.  However, you do have time to take a short break.  If you are in this situation, consider taking advantage of some of these great ideas for summer breaks.

Camping

Camping is a fun event that can be done with friends or the entire family.  There are a bunch of great campsites in Woolacombe.  You can camp in the beautiful outdoors of this area and then hit up the beach the next day.  Woolacombe is an amazing beach town.  Also, you do not have to be a professional to brave the outdoors.  Most campsites are friendly to the novices.  So, if you are looking to try something new and affordable, camping might be the perfect experience.  It will definitely allow you to grow closer to the people you are with.

Visiting a theme park is fun for all ages. There are many theme parks throughout Britain to choose from and some even offer accommodation like Alton Towers.  Some are more geared up to adults whereas others are more aimed at children. Cottage Holiday in the Cotswolds

The Cotswolds is one of the most picturesque parts of the UK. Why not rent a small cottage and spend your holiday exploring the nearby villages and towns. Good food and great walks are in store for anyone visiting the area.
