How to pack for your holiday can be the most stressful thing you have to do, especially if you are planning on holidaying in the UK when we all know how temperamental the weather can be. The trick, when going on Isle of Wight Holiday Breaks or a safari in Kenya is to go minimal. Less is more and this couldn’t be truer when you go on holiday.

How many times have you gone away and taken all but the kitchen sink only to find you bring back a bunch of unworn clothes that are now creased and a little musty from living in a bag for the duration of your stay?

When it comes to holidaying home or abroad the best thing to do is go through what your typical day may involve: beach, town, evening dinner out etc. That way you’ll go through all the scenarios and have what you’ll need with you. Don’t forget to pack suitable footwear from flip flops to trainers.

Once you have all the things you could possibly take for every scenario, then thin this out by sorting out what will go with what and thinking about how flexible an item can be. The more you can ‘dress it up, dress it down’ the better as you will get more use out of it.

Remember that as long as you have the essentials for your Isle of Wight breaks then anything you may forget or not think to take can be bought whilst there. Now what better excuse is there to go shopping?
