Rather than being the top 5 this post is about 5 of the best as there are just some many great attractions in Cornwall is almost impossible to choose. So here is our list of 5 great attractions which are well worth a visit when you stay in a holiday cottage in Cornwall.

Newquay Zoo is one of the finest zoos in the South West and is home to over 130 different species of animal set in a beautiful sub tropical lakeside garden.

The world renowned Jamaica Inn, made famous in the Daphne du Maurier’s novel, is a fascinating stop of on Bodmin Moor. The inn really did play host to smuggler who were sneaking brandy and tea in to the country, its also sold a considerable amount of rum which is where the inn got its iconic name.

The National Seal Sanctuary is not only a great attraction but it is also I vital centre for the rescue and protection of seals. Here you can see seals as well as otters, ponies and even goats nursed back to health.

The Lost Gardens of Heligan are some of the most beautiful gardens you will find anywhere in the country. Walk through the Victorian pleasure grounds, marvel at the exotic foliage of the sub-tropical valley, spot the wildlife in the conservation project and of course you can see some of the finest naturally beautiful Cornish countryside.

The Eden Project is know and admired around the world thanks to its stunning architecture, abundance of plant life and its important conservation work. The massive biomes houseplants from across the world allowing you to walk through landscapes you would normally have to travel thousands of miles to see.
