Anyone heading to Bath this autumn for a well earned city break or holiday, the spa city of Bath is never short of things to offer any visitor.

On the 8th of November sees the return of the annual Bath Young Musician of the Year competition finale which will see the five finalists compete for the prestigious accolade. This year’s event is being held at the Grand Pump Room in the city centre and offers the best in young classical musicians from around the area.

Another music event worth noting if you are a fan of classical music is the forthcoming annual “Bath Mozart Festival”, which commences on the 11th to the 19th of November. The Bath Mozartfest is made possible by the “A M Purnell Charitable Trust” who organise the event every year, with the help of local sponsorship.

The Bath Mozartfest is nine day celebration of musical prowess of “Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart”, with daily concerts take place at various locations around the city. This is sure to be a must for anyone who appreciates this sublime classical music, written by such a talented composer.
