rouletteA race is on between two Spanish cities to attract investment from America’s eighth richest man Sheldon Adelson, as he looks for a home for an economy boosting EuroVegas complex.

The American business magnate, who is the Chairman and CEO of the Las Vegas Sands Corporation, which operates The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino, is hoping to introduce six casinos, 12 hotels, 9 theatres and 3 golf courses in either Barcelona or Madrid, in a move which is hoped will create 200,000 new jobs.

It is thought the resort will cost around $22 billion and has ignited a battle between the two stunning Spanish cities, with some observers comparing the clash to ‘El Classico’, a football match between Barcelona and Real Madrid.
