The beautiful Somerset city of Bath is a multicultural centre for the creative and theatrical arts. March 30 sees the beginning of one of the popular events taking place this year, the Bath Comedy Festival, which is an eleven day celebration of fun and laughter. The Bath Comedy Festival will be taking place at various venues around the city, with both daytime and evening performances featuring established and up and coming acts.  

The festival will offer a varied blend of stand-up comedy, sketch comedy, puppetry, cabaret, music, dance, storytelling, character comedy, street theatre, magic, mime, farce, silent movies, comic art and alternative comedy acts, which are sure to bring a smile to anyone in the audience.

Bath is recognised as one of the major cultural and entertainment locations in the United Kingdom and has many venues around the city which are dedicated to comedy. The Komedia in particular, with its Krater Komedy Klub, has a great selection of comedy acts throughout the year.
