Fun Run to return to Dublin's DocklandsWhile an ideal city break for most people is a relaxing, sightseeing, fun-filled trip, there are some who like to be active. The Docklands 5k Fun Run presents the perfect opportunity for a bit of exercise, whilst also helping to raise vital funds for charity.

The 5K run begins at the Grand Canal Square, taking you on a journey across the banks of the Liffey, crossing the Samuel Becket and Sean O’Casey bridges along the way. It’s an event open to all levels, from beginners to regular athletes. It’s designed to raise money for local charities, with last year’s event raising more than €10,000 for local causes.

The Docklands 5k Fun Run will be taking place on 22 May offering a fantastic event for anyone staying in any of the hotels in Dublin over the period. It’s only limited to a maximum of 3,000 people, so with entry to the event still available, be sure to book your place as soon as you can.
