American rock guitarist, pianist, singer and songwriter John Hiatt is heading to the Scottish capital this summer, it has been confirmed.

The talented Grammy nominated musician, who has had songs covered by a variety of artists including Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton and Willie Nelson, will be performing at the Queens Hall in Edinburgh on Wednesday 18 July.

Entertaining music lovers with his rhythm and blues influenced country-rock since the early seventies, Hiatt remains one of the most influential and respected American singer-songwriters of all time.

He is perhaps best known for his eighth album ‘Bring the Family’ which spawned hits such as ‘Have a Little Faith in Me’, a song that was covered separately by a number of other musicians, including Bon Jovi.
