Arthur’s Day to return to DublinDublin’s Arthurs Day is set to return next month, providing one of the finest annual events for thousands of people to enjoy across the Irish capital.

It provides a celebration of undoubtedly the city’s most famous former resident, Arthur Guinness, the man who first devised the recipe for Guinness dry stout back in 1759, which happens to be one of, if not the most, popular export from the city with an estimated 850 million litres sold every year.

Arthur’s Day offers the chance for the public to congregate together and raise their glasses to the man, whilst also in the company of a few famous faces. The party in Dublin gets into full swing once the bands start playing, with last year’s affair boasting an impressive line-up which included The Scissor Sisters, The Stereophonics and Calvin Harris.

The festivities will be taking place at a number of venues across Ireland, with the biggest parties sure to be found in Dublin. If you happen to be staying in any of the hotels in Dublin over the date, why not come along and join in the fun?
