A new exhibition that opened in Paris in September, revealing all the fascinating secrets of fine jewellery making, has become a roaring success.
Featuring some of the most majestic exhibits ever to have been made by man, the In The Nave exhibition is running at the celebrated French Museum of Decorative Arts – or Les Arts Decoratifs – until 10 February next year.
Some of the highlights of the display include a gold and diamond ‘lion’ choker that was a gift to Elizabeth Taylor from Richard Burton in 1971 and a zipper necklace made in 1951 that boasts lines of diamond teeth.
Just one many fascinating and exciting exhibitions taking place in the French capital over the coming months, it is little surprise Paris has garnered a reputation for being the cultural capital of Europe. Why not check it out whilst enjoying a winter break in one of the excellent hotels in Paris?
