While Paris has always been admired as one of the most fashionable cities on the planet, it is now set to become even classier after high-end jewellery company Tiffany & Co announced that they will bring a megastore to the French capital as early as 2014.
The multi-storey facility has been earmarked for a prime location on the famed Champs-Elysees avenue, in a building that is currently occupied by a fast food restaurant. Already renowned for its fashion boutiques such as the flagship Louis Vuitton store and outlets for US companies including Abercrombie and Fitch and Banana Republic, the news is sure to be met with positivity among those who stay in the nearby hotels in Paris for a retail experience throughout the year.
Made famous while showcased in the 1962 film Breakfast at Tiffany’s starring Audrey Hepburn, Tiffany & Co products have always been hugely admired by lovers of fine jewellery.
