The new venue – which will be situated in the former San Marco restaurant on Mary’s Place in the Stockbridge area of the city – is yet to be named.

Revealing the exciting news on Twitter, Tom said it would be ‘very foodie & family-friendly’ and confirmed that more details surrounding the prospective eatery would be released soon.

It is exciting news for the thousands of foodies that head to any one of the sensational hotels in Edinburgh every year, with the restaurant set to join an already impressive culinary landscape in the city.

Packed full of fine dining restaurants, cultural attractions and family-friendly days out, it is little surprise the Scottish capital is establishing itself as one of the most popular holiday destinations in the UK.
